As a member of the Centre you can participate in special interest clubs and activities! Adults 55+ are welcome to enjoy Kent Street Centre activities on a drop-in basis 3 times before purchasing a Kent Street Centre Membership. The Centre offers instructional courses, special events, day trips, volunteer opportunities and services such as Legal Advice and Personal Counseling.

Seniors are taken on a day trip to a variety of locations around the lower mainland. Volunteers assist with driving, guiding and trouble-shooting..

This informal weekly drop in is open to all ages, not just seniors. Bring your project and your own refreshments and join other knitters Wednesday evenings in the Lounge at 7pm. Drop in fee is $2.

The Semiahmoo Peninsula has a large seniors population, many of them with mobility problems or health issues. Through lack of income, lack of transportation or diminished mental capacity, many do not eat properly. We address these issues by providing a nutritious meal each Wednesday (12-2) September through May with transportation if needed, and allowing plenty of time for socialization. Lunch is followed by entertainment or speakers on topics of interest to seniors,  all provided by volunteers.
